Cargnelutti Marco  

Cargnelutti Marco was born in Gemona Del Friuli (UD) in 1983. His interest in violin making comes out when he visits for the first time a violin maker's workshop in his area. In 2009 he decides to attend Stradivari'd School of Violin Making in Cremona and, followed by different Masters (A.Sperzaga, W. Zambelli, but also M. Negroni, L. Bellini and D. Scolari), he learns how to build bowed string instruments. He graduated in 2012 and soon after he had the opportunity to work in G. Scolari's and L. Bellini's workshops, and in the same period he managed to ask for advice many cremonese violin makers, continuing then both sound and aesthetics research in his hometown.
At the beginning of 2015 he starts his own workshop located in Gemona Del Friuli, and four years later he moves to Udine, where he builds bowed string instruments based mainly on Stradivarius models, and paying particular attention to two great violin makers of the last century, such as F. Garimberti and G. Ornati.
