Hagit Gili Gluska, was born in Israel. After years of practicing law she decided to change course and move to Italy to study at the International school of Violin Making in Cremona. She graduated from the program under the guidance of Maestro Danielle Scolari and Maestro Claudio Amighetti and continued working at a local violin maker workshop in Florence for one more year.

Gili was trained also in the art of bow making under the guidance of the great bow maker David Samuels.

Three years ago Gili moved to south Korea, where she has her one workshop, there she makes violins, violas and cellos with fine precision.
